
The key stakeholders meeting is currently being held at Haa from 25 to 27 June 2025, to finalize the training curriculum and materials for capacity building, locally-led climate adaptation planning, and grant templates for proposal development, project grant criteria, and related tools for the targeted Gewogs. With support from the Green Climate Fund, the CARE-LG project aims to benefit a minimum of 120 vulnerable Gewogs by enhancing their capacities and enabling them to access climate adaptation grants to build resilience against climate-related risks. Key Stakeholders: Bhutan Trust Fund for Environmental Conservation (BTF), Department of Planning, Budget and Performance (DPBP)/Project Management Unit (PMU), Department of Local Governance and Disaster Management (DLGDM), and national consultants.
