Tshering Yangzom is a seasoned leader in strategic fundraising, philanthropic partnerships, and international development with over 15 years of experience. As the former Director of Partnerships and Philanthropy at the Bhutan Foundation, she successfully led major fundraising campaigns, cultivated high-level donor relationships, and secured significant funding from U.S. government agencies and private foundations. Her work has spanned key development sectors including environmental conservation, public health, inclusive education, and cultural preservation—aligned with Bhutan’s national priorities under the philosophy of Gross National Happiness. Tshering brings deep expertise in aligning donor goals with impactful programs, fostering cross-sector partnerships, and driving mission-driven growth. She holds a Master’s in Public Health from George Washington University’s Milken School of Public Health and a Bachelor’s in Biology and Allied Health from Westminster College.
