Sonam Dema joined the Bhutan Trust Fund for Environmental Conservation (BTF) Secretariat in December 2023. She has completed Class XII in Commerce from Nima Higher Secondary School and brings diverse professional experience from both national and international work environments.

Prior to joining BTF, she worked as an Office Assistant in the private sector and later gained international exposure as a Sales Associate in Bahrain. These experiences have strengthened her administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

At BTF, Sonam serves as the Personal Assistant to the Managing Director while also supporting the Secretariat as an Office Assistant. She contributes to the efficient coordination of administrative functions and day-to-day office operations. She is from Pema Gatshel.
