During the visit, His Excellency reflected on the strong parallels between Bhutan and Mongolia in environmental conservation and sustainable development, highlighting immense potential for mutual learning and collaboration between the two countries.
Honโble Chairperson of BTF, Dasho Kesang Wangdi, noted that Bhutan and Mongolia share people-centric development approaches and face common environmental challenges, presenting valuable opportunities to strengthen cooperation and exchange knowledge for the benefit of nature and communities alike.
BTFโs Managing Director, Dr. Karma Tshering, shared an overview of the Foundationโs key programmes, achievements, and ongoing efforts to advance Bhutanโs conservation and climate priorities, while also emphasizing the importance of strengthening collaboration and partnerships to address shared environmental and climate challenges.
