The Bhutan Trust Fund for Environmental Conservation (BTF) signed four Small Grant Funding Agreements to support targeted research, youth engagement, animal welfare, and biodiversity documentation initiatives across Bhutan. The supported projects include:
1. Review of the Effectiveness of the Plastic Ban in Bhutan- Department of Environment and Climate Change Services, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Royal Government of Bhutan
2. Youth’s Pulses in Environmental Conservation: Linking Theory to Practical Applications- Environmental Management Programme, Department of Social Sciences, Royal Thimphu College
3. Procurement of an Animal Incinerator- Royal Society for the Protection and Care of Animals, Bhutan
4. Publication of Birds of Bhutan: Habitat and Distribution (2025)- Bhutan Birdlife Society
These small grants reflect BTF’s continued commitment to strengthening evidence-based conservation, youth participation, animal welfare, and biodiversity knowledge in Bhutan.
