Leki Tshewang joined BTF in May, 2023 as Program Officer. He is responsible to coordinate and manage conservation grants of the Secretariat under the supervision of the Chief Program Officer. He has Master’s degree in Applied Anthropology and Participatory Development from the Australian National University, Canberra. Prior to his current post he served as Dy. Chief Program Officer in the Department of Macro Fiscal and Development Finance, Ministry of Finance and erstwhile Gross National Happiness Commission. Leki also served as Planning Officer in Bumthang, Chhukha and Gasa Dzongkhags. He is from Tashithang, Umling Gewog, Sarpang Dzongkhag.
