𝐁𝐓𝐅 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐁𝐡𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐧

BTF is currently conducting its Regional Sensitization and Project Partners Workshop in Trashigang, with active participation from 58 members, including Dzongkhag Planning Officers, GAOs, and project partners from six eastern Dzongkhags: Trashigang, Trashi Yangtse, Mongar, Lhuentse, Samdrup Jongkhar, and Pemagatshel.

The program focuses on enhancing understanding of BTF’s funding windows, proposal and reporting requirements, and aligning local priorities with national conservation goals. Funding support from the Green Climate Fund and Adaptation Fund is playing a vital role in helping local communities adapt to climate change while expanding funding opportunities for inclusive and sustainable conservation projects.

We look forward to meaningful exchanges and continued collaboration to strengthen conservation and climate change efforts across the Eastern Region.
